Pragyan Ojha and RP Singh join Ajit Agarkar in BCCI men’s selection committee: The 94th Annual General Meeting of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) was held in Mumbai on Sunday. Several decisions were taken at this meeting. Former Delhi captain Mithun Manhas was elected as the 37th President of the BCCI.
In addition, the BCCI appointed two new selectors to the Senior Men’s Selection Committee headed by Ajit Agarkar. Former Indian fast bowler and T20 World Cup 2007 hero RP Singh has been included in the selection committee. Besides him, former spinner Pragyan Ojha has also become a selector. Both have replaced S Sharath and Subroto Banerjee.

RP Singh Cricket Career
RP Singh, who made his international debut in 2005, played a key role in India’s first T20 World Cup win under Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s captaincy. He was the highest wicket-taker for India in the tournament. Singh took 12 wickets in 6 innings across 7 matches, with 4/13 being his best performance. In terms of performance, RP Singh played 14 Tests, 58 ODIs, and 10 T20 Internationals in his career. He took 40 wickets in Tests, 69 in ODIs, and 15 in T20 Internationals.
Pragyan Ojha Cricket Career
Pragyan Ojha, who made his international debut in 2008, played 24 Tests in his career. In 48 innings, he took 113 wickets at an average of 30.26 and an economy of 2.68. 10/89 was his best performance in a Test. Ojha took 21 dismissals in 17 innings of 18 ODIs. Pragyan took 10 dismissals in six T20 Internationals.
