Gautam Gambhir attacks IPL team owner for split-coaching demand: After the 9-wicket victory against South Africa in the third ODI, Team India coach Gautam Gambhir attended a press conference. He was asked several tough questions during the press conference. In response to one question, Gambhir, without naming anyone, lashed out at an IPL team owner and advised him to stay within his limits.
Although Gautam Gambhir did not name the IPL team owner in the press conference, it is believed to be Parth Jindal of Delhi Capitals. Parth Jindal had commented on Team India’s coaching last month. After India lost the Test series against South Africa 2-0, Jindal had suggested having different coaches for different formats of the game.
Gautam Gambhir’s press conference after winning the ODI series

Gautam Gambhir said in the press conference, “People and the media have forgotten that we lost the first Test match by only 30 runs. In that match, the team’s best player and captain was unable to bat due to injury. Many people are saying many things. Some have crossed their limits. Like an IPL owner suggested different coaching setups. In such a situation, I would only say that they should speak or give advice within their limits.” It’s worth noting that Gambhir himself has played in the IPL for the team owned by Parth Jindal.
Questions being raised about Gautam Gambhir

It should be noted that questions have been raised about Gautam Gambhir’s coaching since the clean sweep defeat in the Test series against South Africa. Besides this, there have also been many reports of disagreements between him and senior players in the ODI series. Because of this, it is believed that the Team India dressing room is divided into two factions. Although Gambhir has never openly spoken about these things, his reactions suggest that everything is not normal within the team.
