IND vs AUS Highlights: Australia beat India by four wickets in the second T20I: Australia achieved the target of 126 runs for the loss of six wickets in 13.2 overs. With this win, the Australians took a 1-0 lead in the five-match T20I series. The first T20I was abandoned due to rain. The third T20I will be played on November 2nd.
India’s Innings
For India, Abhishek Sharma scored 68 runs in 37 balls. Harshit Rana scored 35 runs. No other batsman reached double figures. Four of the remaining nine players failed to even open their account. Josh Hazlewood took three wickets for Australia. Xavier Bartlett and Nathan Ellis took two wickets each. Stoinis took one wicket.

Australia’s Innings
Chasing the target of 126 runs, Australia’s captain Mitchell Marsh and Travis Head provided a strong start. The two added 51 runs for the first wicket. This partnership was broken by Varun Chakravarthy, who dismissed Head. Head scored 28 runs off 15 balls, hitting three fours and a six. Marsh, meanwhile, missed out on a half-century, scoring 46 runs off 26 balls, hitting two fours and four sixes. Josh Inglis scored 20 runs, while Tim David managed just one run.
Bumrah missed out on a hat-trick
Bumrah’s prowess was then on display. In the 13th over of the Australian innings, Bumrah missed out on a hat-trick. He had Mitchell Owen caught by wicketkeeper Samson off the fourth ball of the over, scoring 14 runs. He then clean bowled Matthew Short with a brilliant yorker on the fifth ball, leaving Short unable to score. However, Stoinis scored an unbeaten six runs to give Australia the win. For India, Varun and Kuldeep each took two wickets, along with Bumrah.
