India launches team jersey for T20 World Cup 2026: The Indian team’s jersey for next year’s T20 World Cup has been unveiled. The jersey was unveiled during the second ODI between India and South Africa. The 2026 T20 World Cup begins on February 7th. It will be hosted by India and Sri Lanka. Rohit Sharma, Tilak Verma, and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Secretary Devajit Saikia were present at the jersey launch.

The Indian team will enter this tournament with the intention of defending the title. India defeated South Africa in 2024 to win the T20 World Cup for the second time. The Rohit Sharma-led team won the trophy. Rohit has now retired from T20 Internationals. The schedule for the 20-team T20 World Cup was announced a few days ago.

T20 World Cup 2026 Venues

The 2026 T20 World Cup will begin on February 7th. The tournament will be held at eight venues in India and Sri Lanka. A total of five venues will host matches in India, while three venues in Sri Lanka will host matches for this global tournament. Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, and Ahmedabad will host matches in India. The R. Premadasa and S. Sports Clubs in Colombo will host matches, while the Pallekele International Stadium in Kandy will also host a match.

India and Pakistan are in the same group. Besides India, Group A includes Pakistan, the United States, the Netherlands, and Namibia. Group D includes New Zealand, South Africa, Afghanistan, Canada, and the UAE.
