5. Allah Ghazanfar
Allah Ghazanfar suffered an L4 vertebra fracture (stress fracture in the back) during the 2024-25 Zimbabwe tour. Due to this, the talented 19-year-old spinner was ruled out of the Champions Trophy as well as the Indian Premier League.
After a long rest, he returned to the field for Band-e-Amir Dragons in the Shpageeza Cricket League. Ghazanfar also played in the recently concluded UAE Tri-Series. Both his matches were against Pakistan.
3. Wanindu Hasaranga
Wanindu Hasaranga was out of the T20I series against Bangladesh due to a hamstring injury. He was in full form in the ODIs and contributed with both bat (22, 13, 18*) and ball (4/10, 3/60, 2/35).
Before getting injured, he represented Rajasthan Royals in 11 IPL matches. Hasaranga also played four matches for Colombo CC during the Major Clubs T20 tournament. The all-rounder is expected to play a key role for the Sri Lankan team in the UAE.
