Will Arshdeep Singh play in the Asia Cup final match

Will Arshdeep Singh play in the Asia Cup final match: Former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan has made a significant statement regarding Arshdeep Singh, who bowled brilliantly in the final Super Four match and Super Over of the Asia Cup 2025 against Sri Lanka. Pathan says that the clutch Arshdeep Singh deserves to play in the Asia Cup final.

It should be noted that Arshdeep Singh may have conceded 46 runs in four overs in the Super Four match against Sri Lanka, but in the Super Over, he bowled brilliantly, conceding only two runs and dismissing two Sri Lankan players, tilting the match in India‘s favor.

Irfan Pathan said on Sony Sports, the official broadcaster of the Asia Cup, “Look, first of all, he’s as cold as ice. Under pressure, he asks for the ball. He bowls when needed, and whenever it’s the last over, he bowls a yorker. He’s always ready. He’s shoulder to shoulder with Bumrah, bowling yorkers.”

Irfan further said, “I think he’s a bowler of that caliber. Arshdeep will always be in my team. I’ve been saying this since day one, it’s not just for today. He should always be in the playing eleven, because sometimes yorkers are needed from both sides. You saw it yourself today; the match was very exciting.”

But the team felt we needed long innings. And if you need long innings, Shivam Dubey plays as an all-rounder. Now, if he’s playing, Arshdeep won’t be in my team. But Arshdeep will always be in my team. And I’ve been saying this since day one.
