Sai Sudharsan’s 168 Runs and India A’s Massive First-Innings Lead
As for the match, India A posted a massive total of 543 runs in the first innings. Opener Sai Sudharsan laid the foundation for this big score by playing a magnificent innings of 168 runs.
Thanks to this superb batting display, India A secured a commanding 177-run lead over Sri Lanka A. India A began the fourth day at 541 for 8, adding only two runs to the total.
Sri Lanka A’s Batting Collapse and India A’s 10-Wicket Victory
Sri Lanka A’s second innings crumbled like a house of cards against the Indian bowlers. The entire team was bundled out for just 209 runs. Only Ashen Bandara (87 runs) showed some fight for Sri Lanka, but he received no support from the other end.
Subsequently, India A was set a target of just 33 runs for victory. Openers Sai Sudharsan and Aman Mokhade scored 36 runs in 6.2 overs without losing a wicket, steering the team to a comprehensive 10-wicket win.
